Ad:Tech Party List, Map

Steve Hall from Adrants, the fearless leader of the Ad-Tech Blog that I’ve contributed to for quite a few of the shows in three cities (I haven’t been invited to blog Ad:Tech Shanghai yet), posted a great resource: an Ad:Tech party list integrated with Google Calendar. He also has set up a map through Community Walk of where all the events are. It’s about freaking time someone has done this right, since there’s always a lot of confusion the day of the show where to go for the best events.

The formula for finding the best event, not included on the adtechblog, goes something like this:

Take the freeloader constant (the product of free booze * free food) multiplied by the square root of the number of people you’ll get to catch up with, add the number of business cards you expect to receive, and divide it by the inverse ratio of the venue and degree of spectacle, then, from this total, subtract the number of photos of you dancing like a white guy (even if you are neither white nor male).

Let me know if you’ll be at Ad:Tech. I’ll be blogging a bunch of sessions, camping out in the press room when I need to get away from the insanity, and speaking on Day 2 at 2:45 on bid management. I’ll be at the speakers reception and IndustryBrains party Mon night, and maybe the MediaWhiz poker tourment later (I’m still waiting to use my Revenue Science chips from the Search Insider Summit).
