Best Business Books of 2006: #9 – The Long Tail

The first entry on the Best Books of 2006 list, and on the Best Business Books ranking, is The Long Tail: Why the Future of Business Is Selling Less of More by Chris Anderson, editor of Wired Magazine.

I keep a journal of book reviews for every book I read, and in the journal I wrote, "Okay, so this is a 230-page version of an article that’s been pretty well circulated. Yet it’s a really good article.”

It inspired a column back in July, and it’s a good, quick read that reinforces and fleshes out what’s on the Long Tail blog (though of course the blog’s more current – so both blog and book have their place).
