Chevy Chase as You’ve Probably Never Seen Him: Pitching Turkish Cola

And now for something slightly different…

Ahead of a trip to Istanbul this week, I was catching up on some reading, which included Turkey: What Everyone Needs to Know by Andrew Finkel.

Finkel mentions that Chevy Chase starred in commercials for Cola Turka last decade, showing what happens when Americans start drinking Turkish soda. It's so ridiculous that Chevy Chase is about as perfect a star as could be cast in this, and in the second spot, there&39;s even a nod to the Wagon Queen Family Truckster station wagon from the Vacation movies.
