A lot of folks today are getting spammed by the app Nomad. Below's my exchange with the CEO, in case it&39;s helpful. No, I&39;m not linking to the app to give it any remote SEO benefit. If you see someone share Nomad though, don&39;t download it.

We are planning to send an apology email to all our users but unfortunatly we do not have any of your contacts info stored in our system. We will also be tweeting about it maybe you could share the word as soon as this is over?

If you could reach out to my contacts and apologize to them, I wish you could. You hurt my own credibility so now I can only advise everyone to steer clear. Unintentional as it is, this is a big one.

I&39;m really sorry about this David. I would do the same. It was an unintentional mistake. We&39;ve been working so hard and made so many iterations that we overlooked at this. But we had it blocked on facebook&39;s end directly.
I really hope I could find a way for you to forgive my team and I of this mistake.

Good luck in your projects…

I keep getting tons of messages from people ticked off. All I&39;m sure will block this. Guaranteed I&39;m not using this again.

David,

It is a bug in our app, we found a way to stop that feature directly from facebook a about 30mn ago till the fix/update is approved by Apple. None of your friends or family will ever encounter that issue again. Really sorry about that and I really hope this did not ruined your early experience with Nomad.
&0160;
Feel free to contact me directly with any issues you might have, we are working hard to make sure everyone&39;s privacy is respected.
&0160;
Sorry again,
