New on the Blogroll

Lately I’ve added a number of updates to the links on the left. Since you have nothing better to do than click on all of them, you already know that. Yet for those who might have missed some good ones, here are a few standouts:

• Making the Web a Better Place: Here’s a new section for some sites adding some harmony to the world, including See Laura Run (featured yesterday) and the World Community Grid (a separate post on that’s due soon). As for The Onion, humor’s all the more in demand these days. I’ll probably create a separate section for those links soon.
• Best Blogs Ever: Noah Brier offers his Top 50 Albums for 2005 on his blog. I’ll get around to a few of my favorites. Props to him for adding Ben Folds’s Songs for Silverman to his top 10 – most lists overlooked this beauty. Some misses: no mention of Kaiser Chiefs or Arctic Monkeys. As an aside, can anyone find the lyrics to "Excellent" by Blackalicious on the NBA 2K6 album? Okay, maybe I shouldn’t be belting out hip-hop, but I’m dying to figure out what the heck they’re saying.
