The Times offers its best books of 2006. I’ve read two of them, both non-fiction (The Places in Between and The Looming Tower, each one a great read) and have meant to read several others – notably The Omnivore’s Dilemma, Special Topics in Calamity Physics, Absurdistan, and The Emporer’s Dilemma.
