My column today, "The Long, Hard Blog Slog" is a not-so-thinly-veiled plug for this very site. It also takes you behind the scenes:
It’s been tempting to cover the intersection of blogging and search engine marketing, but I didn’t know how I’d be able to add to the commentary already out there. That all changed when I started blogging on my own in earnest. After participating in a number of business-themed group blogs and serving as the lead writer for two technology companies’ blogs, I launched my own blog to serve as a scratchpad for industry-related musings. I figured it would just take a few minutes on nights and weekends, but the humbling experience led to a few sleepless nights.
To be fair to my good publisher, you can read the rest at MediaPost.

Hello David
There is a very feint confluence of circumstance between us. I am involved with search marketing via http://www.britishinformation.com and have recently started a blog at http://www.britjournal.com (earlynorman)although my blog is just my take on life. I like the idea that but for this medium we would never have heard of each other I suppose the jury is still out on wether that is a good or a bad thing. TM.
Just to illustrate how technology makes fools of us all (although I don’t need much help)and how attention to detail always helps, my blog is at http://www.britjournal.co.uk and not .com.
