One Thing Not to Say in an Airport

I’m in Chicago for the EyeforTravel Travel Distribution Summit. I figured, with the TSA regulations, I’d need to check my bag since I thought some items like gel deodorant were banned. Cara did her homework though and let me know that as long as any gels or creams are 3 oz or less and in a clear plastic quart-size bag, I’d be able to get through just fine. Sure enough, she saved me the need of checking a bag, and I got through pretty easily.
I called Cara to thank her while sitting in the terminal and checking email. I told Cara, “Thanks – you did great – I was able to get through security no problem.”
Then I saw the face of the guy sitting next to me who, mercifully, did not call the Feds.
